Gum Damar

We supply various grades of this solid natural resin named Gum Damar. Featuring a white to yellow colour, this resin is derived mainly from the Dipterocarpaceae family of trees found in abundance in Indonesia. One of the main attributes of Gum Damar is that it readily dissolves in spirits forming pale and glossy films. These films are impermeable and exhibit excellent colour stability. As per specific client needs and allotted budget, we can supply this resin in several pack sizes in multiple quantities for use in lacquers for developing gloss and for providing adhesive properties. The resin is also utilized in bulk as an ingredient in varnishes, emulsions, etc.
